A Note on Readiness OS

Enterprise Readiness establishes practices for capturing and applying institutional learning. Readiness OS is designed to support searchable records, connections across situations, and continued use of that learning at scale; the result depends on configuration, data, and ongoing stewardship.

The discipline and the platform developed together. What became explicit in practice became operational in the platform.

The discipline can be practiced without the platform. Readiness OS supports configurable detection thresholds across nine operational domains, an Activation History that can preserve learning when records are captured, and a Prepared Response library for situations an organization chooses to document. The number and usefulness of these records depend on the organization's configuration and practice.

The platform does not make the discipline possible. It is intended to help sustain practices across situations, leaders, and time; an organization may also use manual processes, with tradeoffs in administration and scale.

Relevant Prepared Responses can be ready before an anticipated situation arrives; unfamiliar situations still require judgment and adaptation.

Organizations ready to begin the work can explore Readiness OS and the Founding Partner Program at vaughnmartin.com.

Built through practice. Retained through stewardship. Improved through learning.
